About Me

~Broken Body~Open Mind~: My name is Anna, and I am currently in the first of a two year Foundation Degree in Creative Arts Therapy Studies with The University of Plymouth/City of Bristol College. I spent some years working in mundane jobs, whilst battling an on-going and as yet undiagnosed medical problem. The combination of the two lead me into a spiral of depression and anxiety. Copious types of medication and therapy later, and I am mentally well and more aware of myself than ever before. A major factor in my ability to sustain my mental health is being able to freely express myself through The Arts. I have reached a point in my own journey at which I have a burning need to explore my own identity more whilst acquiring the skills needed to help others in the process. This blog has been designed with the intention of documenting my own self-exploration and the exploration of others who stumble into my path.
